Inflation Device

Inflation Device

Ergonomically designed device to ensure accurate inflation of interventional devices. Feature an angled angled analog gauge for better viewing of pressure reading and luminescent dial for low-lit procedures.

Inflation device also referred as balloon inflated device is used to inflate the balloon with fluid. This can be done by first engaging the lock lever and then turning slowly the palm grip on the piston until the desired pressure for inflation is reached. The lock lever upholds the increasing pressure being applied. It has been ergonomically made to provide an exact inflation of interventional devices. This device also allows for a better viewing of pressure reading. It provides a luminous dial for low-lit measures.

  • Comfortable to handle grip.
  • 30 ATM gauge to facilitate high-pressure applications.
  • Progressive resistance white inflation gives pressure feedback.
  • Devices with large barrels to maximize vacuum for rapid and easy deflation.

INFLATION DEVICE

Feather Inflation Device 30m

30atm/Bar With Stopcock

MT/ID/2030

Ergonomic Design and Easy Handling

Featuring a knurled, anti-slip handle and lightweight construction (approx. 250 g), the inflation device guarantees a secure grip and effortless maneuverability during demanding procedures. Its portable, transparent body with blue accents further enhances visibility, while the analog gauge offers real-time pressure readings for stable, controlled performance.

Precise Pressure Control and Safety

Equipped with a fine pressure control mechanism and a clear pressure/volume scale up to 30 atm (441 psi), the device ensures accurate balloon inflation, minimizing risk. The quick-release valve enables rapid depressurization, supporting safety and efficiency, especially during coronary or peripheral angioplasty interventions.

Versatility and Compatibility

This device is engineered for broad compatibilityfitting most angioplasty balloons and catheter accessories via luer lock connection. Intended for a range of catheterization and angioplasty procedures, it seamlessly integrates into existing workflows across hospitals and clinics.

FAQs of Inflation Device:

Q: How do I operate the Inflation Device with Pressure Release Mechanism during a procedure?

A: To use the device, connect it to the balloon catheter via the luer lock fitting. Gradually inflate the balloon using the knurled handle while monitoring the clearly marked analog pressure and volume scale. For rapid depressurization after the procedure, engage the quick-release valve.

Q: What are the main benefits of the pressure release mechanism in this device?

A: The integrated quick-release valve allows for rapid depressurization, enhancing both safety and efficiency during procedures. This prevents over-pressurization and allows health professionals to quickly respond to changing procedural needs.

Q: When should the Inflation Device be sterilized and how?

A: Sterilize the device using ETO or by following your facilitys standard sterilization protocol before each use. This ensures it is safe for single-patient application and helps maintain sterility in clinical environments.

Q: Where can this Inflation Device be used?

A: The device is ideal for use in medical settings such as hospitals, catheterization labs, and clinics, especially for coronary and peripheral angioplasty procedures or other catheter-based interventions.

Q: What ensures the accurate measurement and control of pressure in this device?

A: The device features a precisely calibrated analog pressure gauge with 2% full scale accuracy and clearly marked graduations, enabling consistent and accurate monitoring of inflation pressure and volume.

Q: Is this inflation device compatible with all balloon catheters?

A: It is compatible with most angioplasty balloons and catheter accessories thanks to its standard luer lock connection, making it versatile for a wide range of procedures.

Q: What are the storage and shelf life instructions for the device?

A: Store the device in a cool, dry place, and ensure it is used within its 3-year shelf life. Always check packaging and device integrity before use.
